The Guelaguetza 2025 celebration includes the famous “convites” (traditional invitation parades), which will take place on July 7, 11, and 12 at 6:00 PM, parading through various streets in the Historic Center of Oaxaca de Juárez.
Additionally, it has been announced that the traditional and much-loved delegation parades will be held on Saturdays, July 19 and 26, at 6:00 PM, from the Fountain of the Eight Regions to the city center.
The Oaxaca Tourism Secretariat (Sectur Oaxaca) is promoting events such as the Guelaguetza Alebrijes Expo-Sale in San Martín Tilcajete, from July 18 to August 3; the Alebrijes Artisan Expo Fair in San Antonio Arrazola, Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán, from July 19 to August 3; the Tejate and Tamal Fair on August 1 and 2 at the Plaza de la Danza; and the Festival of Moles at the Oaxaca Gastronomic Center on July 24 and 25.
Also, mark your calendar: the Artisan Expo Fair in Santa María Atzompa will take place from July 17 to 24; and the Grand Mezcal Festival in Santiago Matatlán will be from July 22 to 26.
Meanwhile, the Wild Mushroom and Non-Timber Products Expo Fair in San Antonio Cuajimoloyas will be held on July 20 and 21. For the first time, the Aroma and Flavor Roots Coffee Expo and the Magical Towns Fair “The Ancestral Magic of Mexico” will take place at the Parque Primavera Oaxaqueña Cho Ndobá, from July 17 to 25.
