The Government of the State of Oaxaca and the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Guelaguetza Lunes del Cerro and its Octava, through the Ministry of Cultures and Arts (Seculta), invite indigenous, Afro-Mexican, and mestizo women from the eight regions of the state to participate in the call to select the representative of the 2025 Diosa Centéotl.

Each interested municipality must form a Community Cultural Commission, which will officially announce through a formal resolution the participant who will compete in the state contest to be held on June 20 and 21, 2025.

Women over 18 years of age, born in and native to the municipality, may register. Registration will not be restricted based on marital status, religion, skin color, ideology, ethnic origin, social or economic status, or disability. Oaxacan women who participated in previous editions of the contest may not compete this year.
